GlobalDrive has a free, downloadable application called the Virtual Disk Drive. This application works just like a hard drive except the information is stored online. Once the application is installed, you can access the files and save files to the drive just as you would any other drive.

Storage Space/Price:  

GlobalDrive is competitive for smaller storage spaces, up to 5 GB. For larger storage spaces, they are expensive—25 GB is $180, 50 GB is $350 and 100 GB is $680.

The software is easy to use and integrates well with other programs. It acts just like another drive on your computer.

We are impressed with how well the Global Drive Virtual Disk Drive integrates with the Windows desktop and applications. It’s as easy to use as a jump drive or other storage drive. The only downside is the steeper monthly fees for large storage spaces.
