IBackup offers eight different application downloads, all with different options and interfaces, to best fit your needs. These downloads are free with your account and allow you to customize your interface.

You get many features with IBackup, but this is one of the more expensive Internet storage services we reviewed.

Feature Set:  

The application downloads include, IDrive, WebFolders, Web–Manager, Sub–Accounts, IDrive Multimedia, IDrive for Mac, FTP and ILite. You are able to select the applications that you want. These applications allow you to drag and drop your files to upload them, view and play media files, schedule backups and more

You can purchase sub–accounts for an additional $5 per account per month. Sub–accounts allow multiple users to access and work on the same files. These are a good option for virtual offices.

Security:  

IBackup offers SSL encryption to protect your personal information. Your account is password protected and you can securely share files with multi–level security. This feature allows guests to access some of your files without sharing all of your files.

Storage Space/Price:  

IBackup is one of the more expensive Internet storage services we reviewed. Their plans start at $9.95 a month for 5 GB and go up to 300 GB for $299.95 a month.

Ease of Use:  

The IBackup interface is user–friendly and customizable. You can try the service free for 15 days but they require credit card information in order to activate the trial.

Help/Support:  

IBackup offers a lot of good information in the information bank and you can find the answers to common questions on the FAQs page. You can contact a customer support representative through phone, email and online chat.

Summary:  

IBackup is more expensive than many online storage services, but the extra features may be worth the cost depending on your needs.
